Set up your billing account on Skytells to unlock full platform access.
Set Up Your Billing Account
To access the full capabilities of the Skytells platform, you'll need to set up billing and add a payment method.
Open the Skytells Console
Log in to the Skytells Console with your account credentials.
Navigate to Billing
From the Skytells Console, go to Billing. This is where you manage your payment methods, view invoices, and track spending.
Add a Payment Method
Click Add Payment Method and enter your card details. Skytells supports major credit and debit cards.
Your card will not be charged until you exceed your free tier usage or make an explicit deposit.
Deposit a Minimum of $5 USD
To activate your billing account, deposit at least $5 USD. This balance will be used for API usage beyond the free tier.
Deposited funds are applied as credit to your account. You only pay for what you use.
Billing Overview
Once billing is active, the Skytells Console gives you full visibility into your spending and billing management. For detailed information, see the Billing documentation.
- Payment Methods — Add, update, or remove cards. See Payment Methods for supported types and instructions.
- Invoices & Receipts — View and download all invoices and receipts. See Invoices & Receipts for details.
- Credits & Rewards — Track your sponsored and chargable credits. Learn about credit types, expiry, and usage order in Credits & Rewards.
- Subscriptions — Manage your plan, renewals, and upgrades. See Subscriptions.
- Order of Charges — By default, Skytells uses sponsored credits first, then your own deposited funds, then pay-as-you-go. You can change this order in your Billing Settings or see Order of Charges.

If your balance runs out and no payment method is on file, API requests will be rate-limited to the free tier.
