Order of Charges
How Skytells determines which credit or payment method is used for each charge.
Order of Charges
When you make a prediction or any billable API request, Skytells determines which balance or payment method to use in the following order (by default):
- Sponsored Credit (partner, rewards, or promo credits)
- Chargable Credit (your deposited funds)
- Pay-as-you-go (your default payment method)
You can change this order in your Billing Settings.
Example
If you have $10 in sponsored credit and $5 in deposited credit, sponsored credit will be used first until it is exhausted, then deposited credit, then your card.
Customizing Charge Order
- Go to Skytells Console → Billing
- Adjust the order of charge sources as you prefer
