Billing
The Billing page in Settings is where you manage your Skytells subscription, payment method, invoices, and cost visibility — in one place, for your entire account.
Billing in Settings is the operational finance page for your Skytells account. It shows your current plan, payment method, invoice history, and current usage charges — everything needed to understand and control your account's cost.
How to get here
- Open the Skytells Console and navigate to Settings in the left sidebar.
- Select Billing in the Settings left rail.
What the Billing page shows
Subscription
Your current plan, renewal date, and status. This is where you confirm whether your account is on a free, pro, or enterprise tier.
Payment method
The card or payment source on file. Update or replace it here. A missing or expired payment method will interrupt service.
Invoices
Downloadable invoices for every billing period. Use these for accounting records or expense reporting.
Usage charges
A breakdown of charges accumulated in the current period — compute, AI inference, bandwidth, and storage, by category. Useful for understanding what is driving the bill before it closes.
Common tasks
Update your payment method
- Open Settings → Billing.
- Find the payment method section.
- Add, replace, or update the card or payment source.
- Confirm. The new method is used for the next charge.
If your payment method fails, Skytells will attempt to notify you and retry. Persistent failures can result in service interruption. Keep your payment method current, especially before a renewal date.
Download an invoice
- Open Settings → Billing → Invoices.
- Locate the billing period you need.
- Download the PDF or access the hosted invoice link.
Change your plan
- Open Settings → Billing.
- Find the subscription section and select the plan change option.
- Review the billing impact — prorations, timing, and feature changes.
- Confirm.
