Usage

The Usage page gives you a real-time view of predictions, spending, credits, and subscriptions across your Skytells account. Use it to understand what you have spent and what credit remains.

Usage is the account-wide spending and activity dashboard in the Skytells Console. It shows prediction volume, edge traffic, credit balance, and daily spending trends — everything you need to understand what is happening on your account and what it is costing.

How to get here

  1. In the left sidebar of the Console, under Account, select Usage.

Overview

At the top of the Usage page, four summary cards give you an instant snapshot for the selected time range:

CardWhat it shows
Total PredictionsThe number of prediction requests completed in the period.
Edge RequestsPredictions served through edge-compatible models.
Total SpentGross credit consumption for the period.
Net BalanceRemaining credit after spending, including sponsored credits.

Use the date range picker to filter by the last 7 days, 30 days, or a custom window. Click Refresh to pull the latest data.

Daily Activity

The Daily Activity chart plots spending and credited amounts over time. Hover any date to see the exact values for that day. The chart helps you spot irregular spend days and confirm that sponsored credits are being applied.

Predictions Breakdown

Predictions Breakdown segments your prediction traffic three ways:

  • By Status — how many predictions succeeded, failed, or are pending.
  • By Type — the modality of the predictions (image, text, audio, video, and so on).
  • By Provider — the model vendor that served each prediction, or your configured BYOK provider if one is active. See Providers.

Top Models

Top Models ranks the models you have used by billed transaction count and shows the cost each model contributed in the period. This helps you identify which models are driving the most spend.

Edge Usage

Edge Usage shows predictions that ran on edge-compatible models. This section will indicate zero usage if no edge-compatible models were invoked in the selected period.

Sponsored Credits lists any promotional or partner credits applied to your account, including:

  • The credit name and source.
  • How much has been used versus the total grant.
  • The expiration date.
  • Whether the credit is currently Active or expired.

Sponsored credits are applied automatically before billing charges reach your payment method.

Spending

The Spending section breaks down your account balance:

FieldMeaning
SpentTotal credits consumed in the period.
CreditedTotal credits added (sponsored, purchased top-ups).
BalanceCurrent remaining credit available for predictions.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions shows active plans and any add-on products attached to your account. If no subscription is active, this section indicates that the account is on pay-as-you-go credit consumption.

  • Billing — payment methods, invoices, and plan management.
  • Providers — bring your own keys and control which compute providers handle your predictions.
  • Predictions — full prediction history that feeds into these totals.
  • Projects — project-level usage tab for per-project breakdowns.
